We recently picked these two chairs up from London that we found on Ebay. They are very low and I think that they would be suitable for children. As you can see, I have not yet done anything to them but if anyone would like them painted in a particular colour then just let me know.
I am not sure if they are antique but they look old. From what I can gather from similar images on the internet, I think that they are Chinese and possibly wedding chairs. One of them has a small draw under the seat. I love them because they are so unusual.

apple green sewing/blanket box
I bought this sewing box from the local furniture project which sells second hand furniture and the proceeds go towards adults with learning difficulties within the community. There are many pieces of wooden furniture there that I would love to buy and give a new lease of life.
The apple green really looks fresh, bringing out the patchwork of colours on the lid that creates a country style look. The dimensions are; height 39cm, length 76cm and width 32cm approx.

Round coffee table decorated with flowers
I was asked to decorate the top of a round coffee table with flowers using Decoupage. My client already had a table in this style and requested something similar to compliment it.
I thought that finding gift wrap with traditionally illustrated flowers would be easy enough, but I could not find any suitable. Having searched the internet, visited some local garden centers and gift shops, I had an idea that I may find what I wanted in a gardening book. So, I promptly went to a charity shop and the first book that I looked in had exactly what I required!
I carefully cut out the selected flowers and after several coats of black paint I placed them on the table. Once I was happy with their position, I glued them down, followed by many coats of varnish.
I am pleased to say that my client was delighted with the result.
