Here is a collage portrait of our gorgeous dog, Jessie, using a print of a photograph. Using coloured crayons and acrylic paints I was able to create more definition and colour.

I am obsessed with blackboard paint! Here I have recycled a bottle, a jam jar and a storage box that I have had for years. Blackboard paint can be used on many different surfaces and it creates the perfect blank canvas for messages, scribbles and even your favourite poems and quotes.
I believe that the happiest families are openly affectionate with each other. They communicate in a calm positive way. Children need affection, sincere praise and they need to feel that they are understood.Commend them, avoid negative or critical language with them. Allow yourself to adopt new attitudes and outlooks. As parents we should always be learning new skills because like our children we constantly develop and grow.
